In 648 AD, St Remacle, Bishop of Maastricht, founded a monastery at Conques, on land belonging to the Count of Chiny. In 1173, the monastery and its estate passed to the Cistercian Abbey of Orval, and became a retreat and study house. Today it feels as if time stands still there, in the shade of the lime trees.
The hotel has 18 guest rooms, each decorated and furnished in a different way, each with its own atmosphere, each with a splendid view and each equipped with a minibar and a small lounge area. From €122 to €151 per person, including 1 meal per day minimum.
