Justine Henin

 Professional tennis player (born in 1982)

She was born on 1st June 1982 in Liège and grew up in Rochefort (Namur province, Wallonia).

She was regurlarly ranked World Number One in women’s tennis by the WTA, having previously held the title for 45 weeks between October 2003 and September 2004. Justine had an impressive variety of shots and was best-known for her single-backhand, characterised by John McEnroe as “the best of any player in the world”

She has won the French Open singles title three times, plus two other grand-slam titles and a gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games.
