Did you know? If you come by Eurostar to Brussels you can purchase a ticket that includes travel to any Belgian station (as long as the journey is made within 24 hours of your arrival or departure in Brussels).
A number of rail passes are available for travel within Belgium. The InterRail pass allows for 3, 4, 6 or 8 Flexible days unlimited travel with prices starting at £51.00 for a 3 day Youth (under 26) Pass and £ 77.00 for an Adult Pass (over 26) in standard class with first class passes starting at £ 106.00. If you are travelling further afield, consider an InterRail Global Pass which is available for a longer period.
Rail Pass: If you are over 26 and are intending to make day trips or several journeys by rail within Belgium then the best train ticket to purchase is the Rail Pass. The Rail Pass is a 10 single journeys pass valid between two Belgian stations (frontier points excluded). The Rail Pass costs 77,00 Euros in 2nd class and 118,00 Euros in 1st class. On the pass you can for example make 5 return journeys for 2 people, or 10 single journeys for 10 people.
Go Pass: If you are under 26 and are planning to make day trips or several journeys by rail within Belgium, the best option is to purchase a Go Pass. With a go pass you can make 10 single journeys between two Belgian stations. The Go Pass costs 52,00 Euros. You can use the Go pass for yourself or/and you can also put other people on the pass if you want to. You can for example make 5 return journeys for 2 people, or 10 single journeys for 10 people.
Senior ticket: There are special rates for senior citizen over 65: The Senior ticket is a return journey for 6.20 Euros in 2nd class between two Belgian railway stations and 13,20 Euros in 1st class between two railway stations.
